Nehemiah 3:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
Nehemiah 3:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 Malchijah the son of Rechab, the official of the district of Beth-haccherem repaired the Refuse Gate. He rebuilt it and set its doors with its bolts and its bars.
15 Shallum the son of Col-hozeh, official of the district of Mizpah repaired the Fountain Gate. He rebuilt it and covered it [with a roof], and set up its doors with its bolts and its bars, and [he rebuilt] the wall of the Pool of Shelah (Siloam) by the King’s Garden as far as the stairs that descend [the eastern slope] from [the section of Jerusalem known as] the City of David.

14 So another ruling official helps with the building and he repaired the dung gate, this would have been where the waste went out of the city, many would have considered this part beneath them as a ruler but he does his part because the entire wall had a purpose. Often times we have to humble ourselves to serve the Lord.
15 The fountain gate went to the fountain, which was for cleaning before entering the city; it was to keep the city pure. So he worked on what we see as an important part this part would have been nicer to work on but the entire wall needed to be fixed.
