Matthew 26:72-75 King James Version (KJV)
72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

72 And again he denied it with an oath, “I don’t know the man!”
73 After a little while those standing there approached and said to Peter, “You certainly are one of them, since even your accent gives you away.”
74 Then he started to curse and to swear with an oath, “I do not know the man!” Immediately a rooster crowed, 75 and Peter remembered the words Jesus had spoken, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

72 So Peter made a oath to God and knowingly broke it he did this out of fear and anger towards them knowing who he was most likely sometimes fear makes us act differently.
73 They at this time had no doubt that he was one of the disciples of Jesus. They could tell by the way he talked, when we follow God He changes us in a way people may see it.
74 Him cursing most likely may mean that he is wish ill upon the people and showing words of hate because they knew who he was Peter. Then the roster crowed fulfilling what Jesus said would happen.
75 Peter now felt guilt because of him denying the Lord. When do wrong we as believers feel guilt because it is always a wrong towards the Lord.
