1 Chronicles 23:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
21 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish.
22 And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them.
23 The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.

21 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.
22 And Eleazar died and had no sons, but daughters; and their brethren the sons of Kish took them as wives.
23 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.

21 These men were given authority by David to build the temple, this was a great duty they were trusted with.
22 Having no sons wasn’t good it meant inheritance went away as often viewed did their legacy, the property would have went to these cousins that the daughters married. The inheritance we gain thru Jesus will be inherited by both men and women of the faith.
23 The sons of Kish aren’t named so it is likely these men helped Solomon by building the temple. We need to make sure we are helping in God’s work but helping raise up future generations to do so as well, for the who have children, teach them what it means and why we serve the Lord.
