Welcome Clark, as you can see this is a new site to encourage men. I hope you find the online interaction you're looking for and a place to express your thoughts freely in love although remember, freedom of speech doesn't mean automatic agreement!
Bless you brother and may the Lord guide you in your sharing here. Be prepared for disagreement though, it's a healthy sign of honest sharing and growth, as Arete reminded me - iron sharpens iron. If we do all in love, He will guide us.

Hi, I've been a Christian for 38 years and was converted in 1976 while reading Mere Christianity by C S Lewis.
It was a darkness to light, despair to hope, purposeless to purposeful, anguish to peace, spiritual prison to spiritual freedom transforming moment. It was as though, invisibly, Christ was suddenly in the room and saying "I love you, I always have loved you and I always will love you".
Against the path I would have chosen, but seeking to be obedient, I was led into the world of business where God has shown seemingly unusual favour.
In 1986 at a housegroup meeting, I sensed the Lord saying "Get the men involved". Nothing more, just that.
Over the years since then, I've sought to step out in obedience to this and while not seeing spectacular growth have seen spiritual fruit through Men4Jesus as a result that makes me believe it was an authentic word. Ultimately the Lord is the judge of this, I'm just reporting.
My desire is to see men encouraged, built up, more and more in love with The Lord and His Word, their families and brothers, their church leaders, their churches, their neighbours and the outcast. Men have a phenomenal power when working together and manly team spirit when submitted to God's leadership has an inspirational impact as witnessed by the first disciples. Sadly men are often defensive, at a distance from each other and wary of dropping their shields. As a result the enemy is allowed to run amok and His Body weakened. Men strong in their faith, valiant in spiritual battle, in love with the Lord, and in love with each other, are a fearsome sight for our enemy. He wants division and he uses male pride to achieve it.
I'm not interested in my reputation, empire building, the applause of men, building a name or false flattery - as far as I am aware or able, I do this for an audience of One, Him. It is by Him that all this will be judged.
I pray you will be inspired through this site and the associated Men4Jesus.net site to love your brother and the Lord as never before. My desire is that Jesus' words of "They will know you are My disciples by the love you have one for another" will be amplified in our lives as a result of all Men4Jesus work. If other Men4Jesus fellowships spring up, here in the UK or anywhere else in the world, that would be wonderful but really is up to Him. He is Sovereign and the Bible is His Sovereign Word.
May God bless you as you consider ways in which you can build and bless your brothers where you are.

Hello I am recently retired from the IT workplace. Been a Reader in the Anglican Church for some 20 years. God is my passion, to live with with him as well as for him. Within my faith I want to pursue what it means to worship and be intimate with God.

Hi I am Colly, I am a member of Men4Jesus, and when I was told this forum was up and running I just had to sign up. I am 83 years old and gave my life to Jesus in 1984, 30 years ago. I worship at an Anglican church, but not the kind if Anglican church I knew as a child. I moved to Doncaster in 1975 on what I thought was a whim, but looking back, I see God's hand in it all the way. But that is another story. I attend the meetings when I can as I depend on others to bring me. But Jesus is in my life 24/7 and it will be until he calls me.
