1 Chronicles 16:29-32 King James Version (KJV)
29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
1 Chronicles 16:29-32 Common English Bible (CEB)
29 Give to the LORD the glory due his name!
Bring gifts! Enter his presence!
Bow down to the LORD
in his holy splendor!
30 Tremble before him, all the earth!
Yes, he set the world firmly in place;
it won’t be shaken.
31 Let heaven celebrate!
Let the earth rejoice!
Let the nations say, “The LORD rules!”
32 Let the sea and everything in it roar!
Let the countryside and everything in it celebrate!

29 The Lord is the One who should be given glory. We often times want to take glory for ourselves but we instead you be given Him glory for giving us the time and chance to do. We would not be who we are without Him. Giving an offering to the Lord is great but He most all wants us to give Him ourselves; no offering truly matters if we have not given ourselves to Him. True worship is giving ourselves to God, He gave Himself to us.
30 We are to have a fear for the Lord or a respect for Him and His power. As believers we have received His mercy so we will face chastisement for our sins but never face His wrath, those that reject Christ should have a strong fear for the Lord but if they did they would come to the foot of the cross.
31 The Lord is the King; He will come to reign on earth one day, for now He reigns in heaven on His heavenly throne. No one comes close to being a great ruler as He is; He alone is the perfect King, King of kings and Lord of lords.
32 The earth itself is praise to the Lord, as that song says He tells every lightning bolt where it should go, He is all powerful. The earth is proof of the power and might of God.
