11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

10 They missed on the Lord’s coming because they were finally getting ready for Him to come. They were not able to go because they were not fully ready; they had not given their all to Him. God wants our all and wants us to commit fully to Him.
11 They wanted in when they finally decided they were ready, we need to be ready to act when the Lord gives us our chance.
12 They had deceived themselves into thinking they were His because of what they did but they had not given everything to Him but they tried to take care of things when it was too late.
13 We should be ready because we may see the Lord prior to His return, we need to follow Him and take opportunities when He gives them to us. People who do not have Him, should take the first chance to receive Him because they may not have another.
