Matthew 25:24-26 King James Version (KJV)
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

24 “Now the one who had received one valuable coin came and said, ‘Master, I knew that you are a hard man. You harvest grain where you haven’t sown. You gather crops where you haven’t spread seed. 25 So I was afraid. And I hid my valuable coin in the ground. Here, you have what’s yours.’
26 “His master replied, ‘You evil and lazy servant! You knew that I harvest grain where I haven’t sown and that I gather crops where I haven’t spread seed?

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
24 There some that will make excuses of why they don’t serve the Lord, the truth is it is because of their pride of their self service. Everyone will one day come to accept the Lord for who He truly is but many it will to late.
25 This man hid what the Lord had given him, he in a way rejected it by doing so he was fully committed to the Lord; he was not truly being a servant to the Master.
26 We do not want to here this from the Lord, the Lord be a good servant like the others but he rejected the work of the Lord and in a way because of this he rejected the Lord.
