Matthew 25:31-33 King James Version (KJV)
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Matthew 25:31-33 Common English Bible (CEB)
Judgment of the nations
31 “Now when the Human One comes in his majesty and all his angels are with him, he will sit on his majestic throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in front of him. He will separate them from each other, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right side. But the goats he will put on his left.

31 This refers to the second coming; Jesus will come to conqueror the world and take control of the earth. He will be made the King recognized by all in the Kingdom. As Messiah Jesus is to be King, He is the heir to the throne, it is why Israel has a Prime Minster instead of a king, and God won’t allow them to have a king until the King returns.
32 He is not separating the different nationalities but separating the people that serve Him from the people that reject Him. The sheep are us who follow Him, His is our Shepherd. The goats live among the sheep but don’t follow the Shepherd they go their own way.
33 Right hands symbolizes a place of power and honor, Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father, at the place of power. The goats are on the left simply to divide them and they are in no place of honor or power.
